On July 30, 1865, a group of Christian settlers in New Ulm gathered to discuss beginning a congregation and on August 17th of that year they incorporated "The Evangelical Lutheran Reformed St. Paul's Congregation in New Ulm, MN".  Through the past 140 years St. Paul's experienced many challenges, but God greatly blessed our congregation.

This summer and fall we will honor and thank God by looking back at God's many blessings.  We will also be looking forward to and seizing opportunities to share his love with our community and elsewhere.

The 140th celebration will include some historical displays, fellowship times, Bible studies, a commemorative Christmas ornament, school activities, community outreach efforts, a special Parish Center thank offering, and special worship services at regularly scheduled times.

Services included  brief dramatic presentations, portions of services both in German and English, a 140th anniversary choir and band, school children, teens, and other features.
